Release policy
P6X terminals run the Payter Terminal Operating System, PTOS, which controls every payment and configuration function. Because P6X is a mature product, we update PTOS less often than our other products. Each release usually fixes one specific issue.
This section lists the significant releases only. If your terminals run a version between two listed releases, the next newer release note covers its changes.
To keep your terminals secure and supported, update any terminal that runs a PTOS version earlier than 2.16 as soon as possible. For help with the update, contact integration@payter.nl.
Release note format
We number PTOS versions as major.minor.release. For example, 2.16.57 is major version 2, minor version 16, release
57. Each release note page covers one year, with a section for each release.
