Apollo family releases

The Payter Apollo family of devices is operated by a collection of several smaller applications/components and an operating system (OS), packaged together as a "Build." Not every application or component is changed from one build to the next.

Payter bundles the app containers together, so every app update includes all containers. You can update the apps without updating the platform. In the following table, Size is the full download for each component. An update downloads only the parts that have changed, so it uses much less data.

Release note format

Release notes contain information about each build package and explain the enhancements and issues resolved for each component in the new version.

In January 2026 we amended our Build notation from yyddd to yymmm where mmm is a three-letter month notation. For example, 26Jan is the build released in January 2026.

Prior to September 2024, we used yyyymmdd notation as well.
